This Return Policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds work for items such as the Habit Tracker Journal, Lumbar Support Cushion Pro, and Adjustable Laptop Stand sold to customers in New Zealand.

1. Your Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA). Products must be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match their description. If a product fails a guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy such as repair, replacement, or refund depending on the nature of the failure.

2. Change-of-Mind Returns

For change-of-mind returns where the product is not faulty, you may return unopened items in original packaging within fourteen calendar days of delivery. Opened journals, cushions with removed hygiene seals, or stands showing installation wear may not qualify unless faulty. You are responsible for return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns unless we specify otherwise in writing.

3. Faulty or Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged or develops a fault within a reasonable period, contact us promptly with your order number and photos. We will arrange repair, replacement, or refund in line with the CGA. Do not dispose of defective items until we confirm, as we may request return for inspection.

4. How to Initiate a Return

We will provide return instructions and, where applicable, a return authorisation reference. Pack items securely to prevent damage in transit. We recommend tracked courier services within New Zealand.

5. Refunds and Processing Times

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within five to ten business days after we receive and inspect returned goods. Shipping fees are non-refundable except where the return is due to our error or a confirmed fault. Partial refunds may apply if items show damage from misuse.

6. Exchanges

If you ordered the wrong variant—for example, a laptop stand height incompatible with your desk—we may offer an exchange subject to stock. Price differences will be charged or refunded accordingly. Contact us before sending items to confirm exchange eligibility.

7. Non-Returnable Items

Custom-printed journals, items marked final sale, and products damaged after delivery due to improper assembly or neglect of care instructions may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns. Digital downloads or consultation fees, if offered separately, are non-refundable once delivered unless required by law.

8. International Orders

If we ship outside New Zealand, return shipping and customs charges are the customer's responsibility unless the return arises from a fault we confirm. Transit times for international returns may extend refund processing.
